- Begin using your account
Login to FileTransfer.com and begin using your account. - Upload files to any FileTransfer.com server
Choosing to upload files to the server closest to you will ensure the fastest upload times. For example, if you are in Europe, you would conntect to a File Transfer server in the EU and then you could choose to have your uploaded files transferred to a File Transfer server in Asia or North America. You can access files that you have uploaded to FileTransfer.com by clicking on "My Files."
- Leave uploaded files on the server they were uploaded to for storage
Once files have been uploaded, you can choose to leave them on the File Transfer server they were uploaded to for data backup storage. You have peace of mind knowing your important files are backed up on state-of-the-art servers in secure data centers. You can access your files with just an Internet connection. - Transfer files to other servers to share with others
After you have uploaded your files, you can transfer files to any other FileTransfer.com server to share with others. If you want to share files with someone else, select their name from your Contacts list and specify the server you want the files sent to. Remember, it makes the most sense to upload files to the server closest to you and to transfer files to the server closest to the person you are sharing the file with. This will allow for a fast local upload by you and fast local download by them even if you are on the other side of the planet from each other.
- Make a copy of the file for yourself on another server for backup
If you want to make a copy of your files on other servers for yourself, simply select "Copy File to Myself" and select the server you want to copy the file to. You can make copies of your files on multiple servers for data backup and archival purposes.
- Download files sent to you by other users
You will be notified by email when you receive files from other users. To download the file, log in to your FileTransfer.com account and click on "InBox." There you can download files shared with you by others.

You can invite anyone with an email address to join FileTransfer.com. Simply enter the email address of the person you would like to invite to join FileTransfer.com in the space provided on the homepage or in your account after you log in.
